Engagement & Conversion
FluentPlayer includes a set of overlay tools designed to turn passive viewers into active leads and customers. These tools go beyond appearance — they directly drive email signups, clicks, and conversions without your viewers leaving the video.
What You Can Do

| Email Capture Overlay | Pause the video at a set point and ask the viewer for their email address before they can continue watching |

How Engagement Features Work
All engagement overlays are configured per media through the Interactive Layers panel. Each media item has its own set of layers that you can add, configure, and remove independently.
Where to Configure
- Go to FluentPlayer → Media and open the media item you want to configure.
- In the right sidebar, expand the Interactive Layers panel.
- Click + Add Layer to open the Manage Layers dialog.
- Choose the layer type you want to add (e.g., Email Capture, CTA, Hotspot, Ad, Fluent Forms, or Shortcode).
